Who is He?

Red was the first main protagonist in the series, being the player character in the original Pokemon Red and Blue (Green in Japan), and their remakes Firered and Leafgreen. He then appears in Pokemon Gold and Silver as a secret boss, and can only be challenged after becoming the Champion and beating all the Gym Leaders in both the Jhoto and Kanto regions. Then, you’ll gain access to Mt. Silver, an area that has the strongest wild Pokemon in the game, and at the top of this snowy mountain, you’ll find Red. He has a diverse team that includes all of the fully evolved starters from Kanto, an incredibly bulky Snorlax that’ll take a while to take down, either a hard-hitting Espeon or Lapras depending on if your playing the original Gold/Silver or the remakes, and a Pikachu which is honestly the least of your worries if you have a good Ground type.
