When a Trainer starts their Pokemon adventure,
the first Pokemon they choose is known as their first companion Pokemon. Defeating these specific Pokemon forces the player to face off against the first wild Pokemon they come across. On the other hand, the initial companion Pokemon in every Pokemon game is a special, one-of-a-kind creature whose purpose is to bond with the player character.
Grass, Water, and Fire
There are a total of 18 types in Pokemon, each with their own attributes and relationships with the other types. Some are weak to, resist, or are completely immune to others. There are even other type matchup triangles just like Grass, Fire and Water. For example, there’s the Psychic, Dark, and Fighting types. Dark is good against Psychic, Psychic is good against Fighting, and Fighting is good against Dark. Also, some Pokemon have two types instead of one, like Ven Building a diverse team of Pokemon that can cover for each other's weaknesses is one of the most important things to take into consideration if you want to be a true Pokemon Master.
